The African forest elephant, native to the humid forests of West Africa and the Congo Basin, is the smallest of the three living elephant species. It can be found in the wetlands of Dzanga-Sangha Special Reserve in the Central African Republic. Sadly, this gentle giant has been listed as critically endangered on the IUCN Red List since 2021.
Our plush forest elephant is hand-sewn using recycled cotton wax fabric and filled with recycled foam. Each elephant is one-of-a-kind, with fabric that differs on each side — no two are the same. Lightweight and soft, it’s perfect for decoration or play.
