More Than a Boutique: A Space to Grow

In a city that’s constantly changing, the boutique offers more than just a place to shop - it's a safe, stable space for artisans to work, learn, and grow. Fully managed by the artisan team, the boutique is a home away from home, where confidence is built, skills are sharpened, and responsibilities are shared. Each week, two artisans take on the role of boutique managers: one more experienced in reading and writing, and one learning by doing, supported by her teammate.

Visit Us

Before the boutique opened in June 2021, Ndara’s products were shared through word of mouth, private events, and local markets. Now, the boutique proudly displays the artisans' craftsmanship and reflects how far they’ve come.

Designed by Charlotte, construction began in February 2021. Over four months, she worked closely with local builders to bring the vision to life - from handmade mud brick walls and furniture crafted on-site. Every detail of the boutique is a tribute to community, resilience, and the deep pride of Central African artisans.

Celebrating our culture

The Ndara boutique is used not only to sell the products made by the Ndara team but also to showcase what is possible to build locally and to inspire its visitors to share in local culture.

Every Saturday a garden brunch is served between 10.30 - 14.00. Home cooked dishes, using local ingredients and recipes, are served on our buffet table.

You'll find us on Rue de la Victoire in the city centre.
