The African forest elephant is one of the two living African elephant species. It is native to humid forests in West Africa and the Congo Basin. It can be found in numbers in Dzanga-Sangha Special Reserve wetlands, Central African Republic. The African forest elephant is the smallest of the three living elephant species and unfortunately since 2021, the species has been listed as critically endangered on the IUCN red list. Fabric is different on each side; no two elephants the same.
