Here in Bangui, the rhythm of life is often punctuated by moments of uncertainty. Cycles of violence disrupt the flow of everyday life, and for us at Ndara, it disrupts the vital connection with our customers as well as the safety and security of our artisans and their families.

Our main goal is to empower our artisans to be self-reliant. We want to provide a secure platform for them where they can grow and spread the Ndara impact in their communities. We translated our passion into handcrafted products that sing with the spirit of resilience and hope. Each Ndara creation is a testament to the optimism and beauty that can be born in the middle of adversity.

Currently, our main customer base consists of the international workforce who bring their skills and dedication to CAR. These individuals become part of the Ndara family, appreciating the beauty and craftsmanship we offer. However, when the tide of violence turns, these very people are forced to evacuate or restrict their movements, leaving a void in our support system. It's during these times that the fragility of our customer base becomes starkly apparent, and our team is exposed to risk.

This is why we've embarked on a mission to diversify our reach to weave a more resilient future for the Ndara artisans. We need to build a broader customer base to ensure a steadier income stream that supports our artisans and their families, especially through trying times when violence erupts and they are on the front line.

Our initial step on this journey was launching our US webshop. This allowed us to connect with international customers and share our creations beyond our borders. However, we recognize that shipping from the US to Europe can be a slow and expensive dance, with customs fees adding an unwelcome extra step.

That's why we're now exploring opening a European-based webshop! This would be a bridge across the miles, offering several benefits:
